Meet the Doctor

JONATHAN SONG

Dr. Jonathan Song earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry and was selected for a one-year rigorous General Practice Residency at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center (RLANRC) in Downey, CA. While there, he was able to help many patients with special needs and was voted “best resident of the year.”

Dr. Song is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to best serve the dental care needs of his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Korean American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association of Dental Research, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, the Contemporary Dental Institute, and the Pacific Implant Academy.

He believes the most important aspect of dentistry is the positive relationship between a care provider team and their patients. He donates his time once a week to local hospitals to provide quality dental care to the community and aspires to be the most caring dentist in Southern California. He is eager to spread his belief one smile at a time.

Meet Our Team

Alice Quach, Hygienist (RDH)

Alice was born and grew up in Vietnam. She came to the U.S in 2007. She always had passion in healthcare. She worked as a dental assistant after college for 2 years from 2016 and fell in love with the dentistry.

Alice graduated from dental hygiene school in 2020. She enjoys providing patient care and education to her patients to maintain healthy oral hygiene. Alice is a foodie and she loves trying out cuisines from different countries. She also loves watching movies during her free time.

Kathy Tran, Administrative Coordinator

Kathy found her way to San Marino Dentistry in 2020. Her passion for dentistry started over ten years ago. She attended dental assisting school, but took a break to travel and became a flight attendant. Her experience strengthened her people skills but reminded her that her heart is in developing long term relationships. Her favorite thing at San Marino Dentistry has been seeing returning patients and watching their smiles grow. In her free time she loves to bake and spend time with her family.

Donaly Nakamoto, Dental Assistant

Donalyn has been a dental assistant since 2012. She joined San Marino Dentistry in 2020. Donalyn was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and at the age of 11 she moved to Ontario, Canada. She enjoys patient care and patient education. Her passion for dentistry has aspired her to become a dental hygienist. In her spare time, she enjoys binge watching Netflix with her daughter, sleeping, trying different coffee/boba places and spending time with her family.

Jazmin Garcia, Dental Assistant

Jazmin has been a dental assistant since 2012, when she graduated from United Education Institute. She joined San Marino Dentistry in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and trying different foods.
